Trainwreck Roundhouse

Carrizozo, New Mexico
2019

While in residence at MoMaZoZo, I worked at the railroad tracks stenciling 2, 36’ canvas panels with objects found in the rail yards such as old tools and machine elements. I installed the panels onto posts forming a 20’ diameter to resemble the shape of the Roundhouse that used to occupy that site, where train cars would be turned 180 degrees on pivots. The project culminated in a community event and poetry reading. Drone footage in video.
